I am sure this has be asked several times, but a search results primarily for SF 9. I currently run Sound Forge Pro 10 (build 506 released on 10/31/2012) on Windows XP-SP3 with no problems. I do not see 64-bit specifically indicated in the specifcations on the Sony site. My current PC is 8 years old. I am havig a friend buld me a new PC. Everything will obviously be a clean install. This will include Windows 7 Professional SP-1 64-bit. I would like to install Sound Forge 10 using the latest download (build 507). I know the only change is compatibility for Windows 8, but I like to be current, but not bleading edge. I will also be install all of the other programs included on the original CD. Does anyone see any problems either using 64-bit or the very latest download? Is there any reason I should use the download that I have been using? Maybe it would be safer? Do you think there will be any problems registering the program on a new PC? This will be the second time in my profile, but the only time on the new PC. Is there anything else I should be concerned about? Thank you, Larry Message last edited on2/24/2013 6:38:38 AM byLarry Clifford. |
