Subject:Sound Forge Audio-Must always start at beginning?

With the latest version of SF, I cannot find the setting where you can tell the program each time it's started to please revert to the last cursor position and not always at the beginning of the audio file. With SF6 this was no problem. Anyone have any idea?

I'm not sure I've experienced this problem before. I know that I always make sure Options-->Seek Cursor on Playback is *NOT* checked, but that's the closest thing to what your describing that I can think of.

Unfortunately that's not the cure. I rather suspect it has to do with the option 'open default workspace on startup' which existed in SF 6, but which I can't find in the SF 9 version.
It is such an obvious choice for the user to continue exactly where he was the last time he had the application open.

Try
Menu: |Options|Preferences|General = 2nd line = 'open default workspace on startup'

Thanks, but as mentioned the option 'open default workspace on startup' does not exist in Sound Forge 9 (at least not in my German version) I am curious if it's offered in the English version. One would assume they would be the same.
Granted, this option was there in my SF 6 purchased 10 years ago in the US.
