Subject:acid 2.0 problems.......help!

my tracks are totally bleeding,i'll put in a drum loop then record a bass track and it will contain the drum track as well as the bass i was told to adjust the track faders to 'pre'or'post' and it would solve my problem,where is this option?i cant find it,i've also configured my sound card,i think that it is correct, can anyone help me please?

when your are recording is there sound coming from your speakers? The mike may be picking it up and double laying the track

i'm recording through a tascam 4-track so i only use a mic for vocals, any help would be apprieciated.
