What model of camcorder is your original video coming from and what format and resolution is it?

What are your project properties?
Randini wrote on 2/6/2013, 8:06 PM
It happens no matter what footage I render. Even if I drag in YouTube clips.
As far as my settings how do I upload a snapshot here? I notice other people do but I do not see any upload image area.

Here are some basic settings:

Output DVD
Frame rate 29.970
Aspect Ration 4:3 Display
B-Frames 2
I Frames 15
Profile Main
Field Order Progressive
Prioritize quality over speed CHECKED
Insert sequence header before GOP CHECKED

ADVANCE VIDEO:
DC coeffecient: 9 bit
Video Format NTSC
Color Primaries and Transfer = ITU-R Rec. 624-4 System M
Matrix coefficients = ITU-R Rec. 624-4 System B, G
VBV buffer 224

Hope there is a solution.

Thank you,
Randini

Wkat codec packs have you installed?
Randini wrote on 2/6/2013, 9:46 PM
I can't recall installing any extra codec packs. I'm running Vegas 11 and just downloaded the updates. I hope no plug-ins are causing this problem. Last week I installed the trial for Twixtor (slow-motion).

Everything was working GREAT two weeks ago.

I found out the problem why Vegas was not loading. It was not Twixtor but stupid Mac programs. I deleted their updater and it tweaks something causing QUICK-TIME to conflict with Vegas. As soon as I deleted QuickTime Vegas opened (learned troubleshoot from a forum).

At least that is fixed but I still have render problem.

After many test I figured it out that RealPlayer (my default) is the problem. All mpegs work nicely in WMV and others. I wonder how I fix this with RealPlayer. I own the Pro version.
