This is on a 2.6 Ghz intel core i7 laptop with 8Gig of ram running 10.7.5. The file plays fine from other applications on this machine. It does not matter if I use built-in playback or mBox Pro. The play head is jumping a few vectors ahead, occasionally several ms. I am used to working with buffer size to address this type of problem, but you seem to have left that feature off. Disc activity shows 130 KB/s, which should be keeping up. pqe
