Sustaining Loop Crossfade not being retained -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:Sustaining Loop Crossfade not being retained Posted by: ududidj Date:2/6/2013 4:09:38 PM I have a basic 44/16 mono sample that has a sustaining loop in it. It was not possible to get a perfect looping point so I used the loop tuner to get as close as possible, then used the crossfade loop function to smooth it out during the sustain loop portion. All sounds fine in Forge but in other software/hardware (Kontakt/Blofeld), it doesn't seem to recognize the crossfade (or it was not applied- not sure how the inner workings of it are with the crossfade data). I saved the file with the metadata to be saved. Even more odd is that the crossfade info doesn't seem to be retained if I open the file again in Forge. I have to do it all over again - and get the same results of course. Any ideas of what is going on and/or what I am doing wrong? Trying this in SForge 10d Pro. Thanks!
