When rendering to mpeg or mpeg2 using the Ligos GoMotion renderer in VV3, much of the white space (direct sunlight) and all the skin tones are bright purple. Everything else is lightly shaded purple.
I haven't seen this in the Forum, so I suppose I have a setup problem. Rendering to avi and using TMPGenc works fine.
Could be a mea culpa. A few days ago, in anticipation of VV3 but before it was released, I downloaded a crack for the Ligos renderer in VV2 to check it out. (Yes, illegal, but I bought VV2 and VV3, and it was the weekend so I could not phone in the registration, and the Ligos registration failed when I tried to do it legally, and I was desperately out of storage due to the avi/mpeg duplication with TMPGenc. Nuff said.) Anyway, the crack unlocked the Ligos renderer but also caused purple mpegs in VV2. If I rendered an avi directly after rendering a purple mpeg, the avi was also purple. I had to exit and reload VV2 to render the avi correctly. Anyway, I unloaded everything and manually wiped out everything "Ligos" in my registry, but I must have missed it because Ligos never asked to be registered again after I reinstalled. So perhaps I have a registry hangover. Otherwise, not a clue.
