Subject:SFP for Mac NOT saving edited files?

I was already a user of SFP for PC(worked great), but this Mac version does not save my edited files properly when using SAVE or SAVE AS. It cuts off the end of my edited tracks. Anyone else having this issue? Is there a fix for this? So far all I can say is SFP for Mac is CRAP compared to the PC version =( |

Can you provide a rough description of the workflow you're using that's leading up to these files being prematurely cut-off? Make sure to mention the source and target file type as well as any steps involved in the process. |

I'll try and I hope this is what you meant. I will drag an mp3 from my desktop into SFP for Mac. After editing the song, when I select SAVE, SFP is cutting off the end of the track(different each time) and leaving a GREY BLANK area where there should be track. It does the same thing when I select SAVE AS. |

Given the details provided, I'm unable to reproduce this behavior. Can you provide a screenshot of the "grey blank area"? How much of the length (in time) is being removed? Which edits are you making prior to the save? |

Yes I can provide a screen shot or even a short video. Would you like it emailed to you(I do not see any wat to attach it to this post)? It's the last edit's that are being cut off and depends on how much I have edited at the end of a track. As far as edits, some cutting and some pasting of different parts of a music track. Do you think I should try to uninstall and reinstall SFP for Mac? I am using a MacBook Pro RETINA and it seems that the INTEL chip in it gives all kinds of programs issues. |

If you could provide a precise workflow that manifests this issue, that'd be best. By workflow, I'm speaking of a numbered series of detailed steps that ends in reproducing the behavior that you've described. Details to include: Source and target file type, types of edits used, and any plugins or processing applied. At this point it might be most expedient for you to formally open a support case with our tech support department. They'll gather the requisite information and pass the issue along to me. Last support request I put in I didn't hear back from a Sony tech support rep for a month, but I will do that. I'm also going to remove the app and re-install it to see if that helps out with my issue. Is there any setting I need to change so that I receive and email when there are replies to posts that I am inviolved in? |
