Subject:ADPCM - use Windows or IMA version?

I am preparing sounds to use in Flash. On Flash forum someone said that for event sounds ADPCM format is the best. Which of the two ADPCM formats are more widely compatible with browsers (e.g. is Windows ADPCM supported on Mac).

In my experience, and IMHO, I've found that IMA ADPCM sounds better. I can't speak for its compatibility with other platforms, but one would think that something that isn't a Microsoft-developed standard would have a better chance at being cross-platform compatible. :-)
