You could also reinstall Acid to replace this file. Ted |

Not that I know of. Just to be on the safe side, if you've got your loops and ACD files in the same folder as ACID, simply make a new folder and copy/move them over. Iacobus |

Hello, I too would request the SFCDI.DLL and SFCDI.CFG files from any SF product that is newer than what I currently have, which is Version 2.0 (Build 1) and dated AFTER May 08, 2001. Preferably such files dated sometime this year, but late 2001 is OK too. It should not matter which product we are talking about, because I'm nearly 100% certain they all use the same basic format in their CD Information files. Please e-mail such files as attachments as you may have to: steve at amisp.net Thanks much, Steve |

People, The error message you are getting means that you have a broken install of the software. You need to reinstall your program clean. Just do the following: Go to Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs and uninstall Sonic Foundry ACID Pro 2.0 (or whatever ACID version you have). This will not remove any loops or saved files you have on the machine. It will only remove the ACID program files. (If you are paranoid about this, back up the files you are afraid of losing first) Now, just reinstall from your original installer, and update to the latest letter revision for the version of the software you have. You will then be good to go. sybesma: No, any SFCDI.* will not work with your software. You need the specific version that came with the installer you installed from, and if you are getting this error message, in all likelyhood you will need to run the orignal installer to correct the problem.
