I'm trying to uninstall DVD Architech 5.2 Because it was listed twice in the uninstall program window and would not funshion other wise. I got the first one to uninstall, when I try to uninstall the second DVD Architech application. I got this window popup This feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailabe. So I click cancel then window installer pops up This installed source for this product is not availbale. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it. I done a search in window and nothing come up, the only place I see it is in the uninstall program. If it's on a network, I'm not on a network or if it is installed on my computer why cant' I fined it?

When that sort of thing happens to me I uninstall everything from the company (SCS in this case), delete all related folders (do a search) and clean the registry.

If it still doesn't work I search through the registry for references to the program or the company and delete all entries (and parent folder if it seems to be specific to the program). You should back up the registry first in case you break something else (but I never do!)

If that still doesn't work I save all recent data on the C: drive and restore it to an earlier day when the program did work or before it was installed. (You do have backup images of your C: drive, don't you? If not, you are about to pay for your slothfulness.)

EDIT

You could also try System Restore, but I have never had it fix a problem.
