Beginner question for sure. I want to start recording multiple tracks at once with Music Studio 7. First, is it possible? ... and if so, what type of mixer or interface do I need to buy? I am willing to upgrade to MS9 or Acid Pro if need be. I currently use a Lamda USB interface for one at a time... Thank you for any advice, Jeff |

Yes. A multi-channel interface is all you need. That can be a straight audio interface, or one part of a mixer. But if you get a mixer type, ensure that you have access to each individual input channel. geoff |

That would be fine, but may be bigger than you require. Also many other products from likes of M-Audio, MOTU, etc. Great price - that sort of thing would have cost at least double a few years ago. geoff |
