~shrug~

I've made many DVD's with Pinnacle Studio, the Play button always functions identically to the Enter button to start the disk playing.

The version of Pinnacle I have doesn't do Blu Ray and the whole reason I migrated to Vegas and DVDAS is that it's supposed to be a much superior app to Pinnacle.

DVDAPro is a much superior app, and because it does do Blu-ray. The functionality of your Pinnacle Studio was built on canned-in parameters. It has long since been outmoded by "progress". You may have "enjoyed" that canned feel - that is a personal issue along side of where tech is going.

Now, that is not to say that DVDAPro does not have a few bugs that need tweaking. You are in for discovery. OR you can simply return to the old app....create DVD video and play on your Blu-ray player.

All that aside, this is a very simple functionality that *should* work and if it's part of the coding it was a ridiculous oversight.

agree with this, the customer absolutely should be able to hit "play" on their remote to play the DVD -- I've gotten complaints about this, having to explain clicking enter instead of "play", which is counterintuitive
