Subject:Acid Pro 7, Changing sample rate from 44.1

Wow, It's been a long time. I must admit that I've moved away from AP7 since it seems that sony has pretty much abandoned it. Seriously, it hasn't been updated in a long time. However, I still install it on my new set-ups so that I may access old projects once in a great while. I can't seem to change the sample rate to 48khz. I go to the preferences section and then to the advanced section but it won't let me change anything. My audio interface is: Presonus audiobox 1818vsl and focusrite octopre connected to the 1818 via adat in. When I open ap7, it changes the settings of my interface to 44.1khz and everything falls out of sync. I have no problems like this with my other DAWs. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. |

You go into the properties in the Mixing Console > Audio tab to change the sample rate. There's probably a sample rate mismatch somewhere for sync'ing. Did you go into each interface's control panel to ensure 48 kHz is selected? Can you start a new project and set it at 48 kHz? |

I'll try the mixing console thing but i won't be able to get to it for about a week. The rates on my hardware are not mismatched, I have it set to 48 as default. When I'd start a new project, ap7 would automatically change my interface to 44.1(in my interfaces control panel). I'll give your suggestion a shot when i get the chance. Thanks. |
