Subject:Loading a CD into SF

I just bought a Tascam CDRW700 deck and recorded live to CD. Now I want to load it into SF. The sound file is not accepted by SF. How can I do this? I have SFXP 4.5. Previously I've recorded to DAT and loaded the material in real Time without any problems. I thought I could do this with CD and load it as a file really fast to save time if you can help....THANKS

If you can record off a DAT in real time there's no reason why you can't do the same with the CD. But it is better and faster to just "rip it" off the CD which converts the audio CD file to a .wav file. SF 4.5 will not do it but 5.0 will. There are many programs available that let you rip right off an audio CD. Many CD buring applications have this too, such as Roxio. I'm sure there are free downloads somwhere on the net. Anybody know where we can point DR.Sax?
