Text Blur Problem

I filmed at 720x480 and created a template at 640x480 for the internet. My client wants the clip for DVD. When I change in properties to 720x480 everything looks great accept for my added text that BLURS? In the text properties it even says 720x480. Any solutions?

What are you using to generate text - Vegas titles & text, Vegas ProType Titler, or 3rd party plugin? Also, which version of VP are you using? Does this problem occur only in the preview window or in the rendered clip. Lastly, a screen capture would help greatly.

In the text generator window, near the top, are screen sizes for height and width. Try changing one of those to 720 as well and see if that helps. Vegas doesn't update these automatically when you change the project size.

I'm using the Vegas Text and not a plug-in. I'm running Vegas 11 and the problem occurs both in preview and rendered version. The text already says 720x480 in the properties window.
