There's a possibility for SpectraLayers to delete the source file when importing a layer and the file cannot be read. This seemes to be related to files being read through ffmpeg (I've seen it with MTS files with an AC3 audio track). Apparently, SpectraLayers may inadvertently open the source file with FILE_FLAG_DELETE_ON_CLOSE, which presumably was supposed for a temporary file to be created by ffmpeg. Yes, just happened to me. MTS file is gone, not in recycle bin. Thankfully I have a backup! |

I have exaxtly the same experience with .MTS file from today. Out of curiosity I went to this forum to find out this is really a bug. Fortunately I too have a backup of the .MTS file. |
