For Vegas Pro 12, does anybody know what the appropriate workflow for 24p clips from a P2 file is? Without the Raylight plug-in, 24p files are read in Pro12 as a 60p file. As I understand it, this is because the newest upgrade (the Raylightless version),does not remove pulldown from P2 files. Is the proper protocol to set the timeline properties to match 60p? Or does one set it for the 24p setting at which the work was shot? Won't setting the timeline at 60p change the look and/or performance of the original clip?
