Hi.. I have been using Sony Acid 8 for two years with very few problems til now.. I just bought a Fender Mustang III and I LOVE the amp... My problem tho is getting Acid to recognize the amp using the USB... I can get audio IN to Acid, but I cannot get any playback of either the pre-recorded tracks or the guitar track itself... any tips??

Did this formerly work with Music Studio 8 before? Some USB interfaces are only designed for input and not as an audio interface.

Did you contact Fender to see what they say?

No I just bought the amp... contacted Fender and they have no idea why it won't work... I have downloaded the Fender ASIO and still nothing... Fender told me to contact Sony, which I have with no response

Have you selected the Fender ASIO driver in ACID's audio preferences?

Yes and I either hear just the amp or just the other tracks... so far the most I've been able to do is line out from the headphone jack...

From the documentation for this amp, it does not appear to be a full duplex Audio device. Fender is not real clear on this, but it is a limitation of the device and the ASIO drivers fender provides.

Take a look at: http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/forums/ShowMessage.asp?MessageID=844130&Replies=2

Looks like your Fender amp won't accept input on USB.
