Hello, Release notes are provided for previous build - could you tell me what is improved in build 37 ? ... just compatibility with Windows 8 (I'm still on Windows 7, so in this case I'm not interested in update, because my build works properly) ? best regards, Message last edited on12/16/2012 2:52:20 AM byRRA. |

Dear ForumAdmin, Under release notes 3.0, there are items related to Acid Pro 7 and midi tracks including a known issue with Acid Pro not saving midi settings. Is this a patch Acid Pro Users should download as well? I have this problem often when using certain vst's. |

The release notes clearly state that this is an update for Acid Music Studio 9 and has nothing to do with Acid Pro other than that you might have some issues opening Acid Pro projects in AMS9 (although there seem to be some "workarounds"). This is an update - not a "patch". |

drbam, Thanks for the comment. And who are you? Are you the forum admin or a SCS rep? After working 24 years in the wireless networking industry, I know that every major equipment manufacturer in the world refers to a software update as a patch....every one of them. Just in case you wanted to know. Thanks again for the quick, yet curt, response. Weldon Message last edited on12/20/2012 6:40:43 AM byWeldon. |

@Weldon - I'm a former Acid Pro user who moved on to Reaper after it became clear that SCS was developing Vegas into a video app and had stopped meaningful support and development of Acid Pro. I started using both Vegas and Acid at versions 1 and Sound Forge at verson 4. I only use Sound Forge at this point but continue to come around here just out of curiosity. FWIW, my understanding is that SCS distinguishes between updates and patches as evidenced by how they label them (at least they did so in the past). Do a search around this site if you're interested. I personally don't care but thanks for setting me straight. Peace . . . |
