Subject:New loops not showing waveforms

Hello there. I have Acid Pro 4. I purchased some new loops and when i try to "paint" them onto tracks, no waveform shows. The only thing that shows is a straight line representing the audio, but no peaks whatsover! The purchase were .wav loop sets. Can anyone help explain this phenomena? Thanks so much.

I seem to recall an issue of waveforms not drawing properly but I cannot remember what caused it offhand as it was long ago. Might have been a video driver issue.

Can you actually hear the drawn event as it plays?
