Subject:Recording midi with multiple synth vst plugins

I have started expanding my reach with Acid Pro 7 by using my midi controller and quite a few vst synth plugins. I love what I think I can do with this, but I am running into some problems with synths changing to random presets as I add more midi tracks and vst synths. I am creating a new midi track, and following the "add soft synth" process and with just a few tracks, everything is fine and I can render songs out OK. When I start adding more than a few tracks, with different synths, I start seeing random things happen. I have searched YouTube for any vst/midi/acid tutorials and have had little luck. Is anyone using Acid this way without trouble?

I usually don't have any problems but then again I don't use a boatload of VSTis at once.

When an ACID project is saved, all the settings for that particular MIDI track should be saved along with it, including any VSTi settings. If the VSTi is changing presets on you, it could be the VSTi itself.
