Subject:Recording voice and music for web

I am looking at both the full SoundForge and the XP versions.
My main question right now is can I listen to the audio that I am recording
at the same time the recording is going on so I can set levels on the
sound board?

TIA,
Tom

Yes -
All you have to do is route the analog output of your soundcard into your mixer and use those channels for monitoring while recording instead of the one(s) that you are using for the source material.
With my soundcard, all I have to do to monitor the incoming signal to the computer is to select the appropriate input source on the soundcard & use my analog soundcard output channels on my mixer to monitor (send them to the correct buss on your mixer to go to your control room amp/monitors).

Good luck.
