Hello! Problem description: I add a wav file created in 'Forge' to the 'Acid' project where I'm constructing a video. Everywhere I know to check the sampling rate and bit depth are the same. However, when the wav is added either: a) The wav file slows down b) The rest of the project speeds up or slows down There is another element that could be causing this -- see first question below. Questions: = I've added existing sound effects from various sources, various formats and I have not bothered to check the sample or bit depth -- could this be causing theses problems? = What are the 'things' that could cause what I'm seeing? = What happens when you add an audio file that has a different sampling rate then the Acid project? = What would cause the entire project to change speeds? Like so many other Americans I was caught in company layoffs a week ago. Projects like this are suddenly far more then a 'hobby'! And this one is my very first, is so very important to me and has a deadline of this weekend. So any help or suggestions would be so very much appreciated. Thanks! Rusty |

It sounds like the files you're using aren't ACIDized. See the following article in SF's Knowledge Base here for more information. HTH, Iacobus |
