Windows Update hangs Vegas Pro 12

After a Windows 7 update this morning, Vegas will not fully launch. It hangs with a couple of windows partly drawn and the splash logo frozen. I went back to the previous restore point. Same thing. I'll try one more prior restore point. If that fails, I'll try reinstalling Vegas.

Anyone else having problems with the latest Windows upate?

No problems but it might help if you listed the actual updates so we can see if we have already applied those.

I just checked the properties of the Vegas launch icon and found that the "run as administrator" box was unchecked. Can't remember doing that. I checked it and restarted Vegas. It seems fine now.

And I now realize that the updates were related to my recent install of Microsoft Office 2010, so probably would not apply to a most folk.
