I was wondering if a Sony admin in here could help in speeding up a support question i submitted. Acid and Vegas suddenly started giving me a message when it starts up saying "the media library default cannot be loaded". Hitting ok, makes it go away and the program is still usable. But i was gonna a start new project in Acid so i figured i would "fix' it first by doing a re-install. But registration will not take (error -41) due to too many activations. I just needed the count to be reset so i sent the support question (ref 121128-000050) and i have not gotten a response. I downloaded the free trial to Ableton Live 8 and so far whatever i can do in Acid it can do as well - but hate to purchase a new program when Vegas works fine for what i use it for. I have been with Sonic Foundry since Sound Forge 5 and Vegas 3 but didn't have to contend with bad customer service until now. I tried phone support but none of the options apply to my situation. I take it you lodged an online support ticket for more activations . Did you get an acknowledgement ? I've never had a problem with a customer service requests for this - but maybe things have got worse lately.... geoff |

The one time i had this issue i called customer support, was talking to someone within a couple minutes, and had it reset a minute later. I'd call again and just take whatever option you get for customer service, then explain your situation to whoever answers. |

I am having a similar issue. I couldn't even get an activation code. I am currently waiting for EMAIL support. Hopefully, they can fix this issue. My friend has switch AWAY from acid, but I'm not quite ready to do that, until I see hers in action. |
