This is OT but I thought maybe someone here has had a similar issue and can possibly point me to an answer.
I have not been able to Update Apple QuickTime on my Windows 7-64bit machine for eons....
Each time I try and do either a complete un-install, or, Run the built in installer from apple I received the error :
"Could not Open Key :UNKNOWN\Components\DA42BC89BF25F5BDOAF18C3B9B1A1EE8\480BOF72503819849BDFF4E2E3FD894D. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key or contact your support personnel.
Anyone had this issue and can help ?
