Please open a support issue with technical support.

I'd like to have a chance to gather some more information about your hardware and the state of the machine when the app freezes.

One other thing -

When Forge hangs during recording, do this -

1.) Open activity monitor (Applications -> Utilities -> Activity Monitor) and scroll down the list until you see the hung Forge process. (It'll be red.)
2.) Highlight the process and choose "Sample Process". Save that file and submit it when you open an issue with tech support.

That'll help us get a handle on precisely what's causing your machine to hang during recording.
