Subject:Possible bug: Kitcore renders out silence...

Hello good people,

Found a potential bug:

1: Make a new project with the settings of 48khz, 16-bit, Stereo
2: Right-click on time-line, select Insert a Midi-track
3: Insert Soft-Synth... select Kitcore
4: In the Kitcore Window... select Groove... select any drum pattern and drag it to timeline
5: Go to File and select Render As...
6: Save as type: Wave (Microsoft); Template choose 44khz,16-bit, Stereo
6: Give your file a name and press Save

Play back the file... you will get silence. I changed the Audio Device Type to: MS Sound Mapper, Direct Sound Surround Mapper, Windows Classic Wave Driver, the Kitcore will still be silent when rendered.

The workaround would be to change the project setting sampling rate to 44.1khz and Kitcore renders correctly.

I'm using the Kitcore software that came bundled with Acid Pro 7. Plus I have an updated Kitcore plugin from this website. My sound card, X-fi Forte, driver mode is set to Audio Creation Mode.

I can repro, but you forgot to mention to route the MIDI track to KitCore (any newly-added MIDI track without any soft synths will be routed to the Sony DLS synth).

I can also repro the way I always add synths: By dragging KitCore from the Plug-In Manager to the track list and then continuing with your steps.

Not a huge life-stopper. I just match the bit-depth/sample rate to the render.

Hi lacobus,

Thanks for reproducing this error. Yes, I did forget to mention about the "route the Midi track to Kitcore", thanks for pointing that out.

Even-though, it's not a huge life-stopper of a bug... for those that render out to a different sampling rate than the one set in the project properties, it can be frustrating to pin-point the cause. In my case, I was like "What the eff?, my Kitcore drums didn't render **scratches chin**."
