Subject:SF Pro 10 problem since ProTools 10 install

I'm running Windows 7 64-bit on a Dell XPS computer. I've been using Sound Forge Pro 10 with earlier versions of Pro Tools LE for years. Since I've installed ProTools 10, neither SF Pro 10 nor Vegas Studio 9 will load.

I get an error message "Sound Forge Pro has stopped working." Same message for Vegas.

Any tips or insights? I've submitted a question to Sony, but response has been slow (understaffed I'm sure, which is not the fault of those tasked with answering questions).

Any suggestions or advice? Based on guidance from Sony tech Eric, I have uninstalled both Sound Forge and Vegas and reinstalled them after clearing the registry. Same problem. And I've tried disabling all startup programs. Same problem. Interestingly, CD Architect still works.

Any additional ideas?

The problems since installing PT 10 have been reported a couple of times recently.
