Subject:choosing sound card

i have a macbook pro, 10.7, maudio fasttrack pro.
sf only works with internal in/out...it sees my fasttrack pro but then in () is " internal speakers." it won't let me choose fasttrack pro's channels for either the ins or outs?

I'm not reproducing the issue as described with a Fast Track Ultra that I have here on hand.

Are you selecting the interface via Sound Forge Pro -> Preferences -> Audio and then selecting the Fast Track Pro on both the playback and record tabs?

thanks for the quick response...i played around with the options and for record i have to choose the fasttrack pro's output to go into sound forge to record and input to have sound forge send it's audio to the ftpro? not the way i think of audio b/c i think into ftpro to get into sf and record, but whatever, it works now. thanks for your time!

I don't understand what you are trying to say here. Can you explain what you expect and where you expect it?
