Whenever I open Acid Pro, I always get a message saying "There is a newer USB driver installed. Please install the corresponding ASIO driver." What on earth does this mean? I have installed the ASIO 2.0 and the newest beta from the site. Also, I try using the Guitar Combos from Native Instruments that come with the software, and whenever I try to change the audio settings, the screen freezes. I believe these two problems has something in common. I have Windows 7, and am using a Dell Laptop with the normal soundcard, Intel core i3 'inside'. I need to fix this in order get a good sound and to be able to record my guitar. Thanks Nikkos |

This message is produced by a driver. What audio hardware do you have installed on the machine? Did you recently remove hardware or update software on your system? Peter |

I recently updated my drivers to make sure they were all up to date. I'm not sure how to find out what audio hardware I have on my laptop, but this is the model I have. http://www.dell.com/us/p/studio-1558/pd |
