If you want to effect real time and non destructively, the the plugin chain allows you to dynamically add and remove - and reorder. You then commit by rendering. Only realtime fx can be used on he chainer. Offline, converters, generators, and plugins that require random or direct access to the media cannot be use in the chain. The actions are all undoable.
