Subject:AES 2012 - Can we expect anything?

Can we expect any product announcements from SCS at AES 2012 - Oct 26-29?
Now that Sound Forge Pro has been designed for the mac is there any hope of an update for Acid Pro? Either PC or Mac?
It goes without saying that SCS has been seriously busy in the last half of this year with new and updated product announcements. But yet again - Acid Pro continues - Mums the word!
Thoughts anyone?

I find it totally crap that a SCS rep can't/won't comment on this now 4 year old question. I am so close to leaving because they clearly don't give a shit about those of us that have stood by their side...

On the contrary - Peter answered this question for me (after mucho prodding) several months back ...:

Q: Does ACID have a future.
A: Yes.

And that's it. Nothing about what kinda future or when. Just that there is one.

Gonna have to make due with that for now - because it's most certainly all we are going to get.

It's good to hear that...to a point. It's a non answer...as long as there are loops and people buying the software, there is a "future".

I hope they continue because I hate to continue using the software if soon I am going to have to change...might as well change now.

I agree that its incredibly disappointing that SCS keeps us all in the dark about the future of Acid Pro.
I love the software but it is becoming quickly limited. Its already limited in ram usage and how many plugins you can run in the software. For me that limitation is not an option now. Since running into these limitations its caused me to look at other DAWs. Reaper is the closest program to Acid Pro.
I hope SCS will surprise us all. Having said that Acid Pro is running out of time. Windows 8 is released this week and Acid Pro has not been updated since early 2010.
