Trouble Re-installing SoundForge 9 and Acid Pro 7 -Sound Forge - PC

When attempting to install both of these programs, toward the end of the process a error dialog pops up that states "Module C:\ Program Files\Sony\Shared Plugins\Audio\sfppack1.dll failed to register. HRESULT -2147024770. Contact your support personnel." I have installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable in an attempt to replace the necessary files, but no luck. I have had both of these programs installed and working properly on this same computer before. I am running Windows XP Pro service pack 3. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! Baxter
