Anyone have any input on this. Does Anyone own BOTH and tell me the Pro's and Cons?

In a nutshell....Cakewalk PA 9 (I was using CWPA 9 now Sonar) is basically a midi and audio production and recording application...while Vegas is primarily a multitrack digital audio recorder and editor sans MIDI. The audio side of Sonar has slight similarities to Vegas....but Vegas is specifically designed for audio (and much better at it, supposedly). I'm waiting for VA3 so I can use it for mastering non destructively, unlike Sound Forge, and replace CDA.

I have both, thus
Pro: Vegas Rocks
Con: Cakewalk Sucks, but offers a couple features that Vegas doesn't yet. External hardware control and surround sound mixing....but it's like owning a DVD player with all the features, but rarely works for playback.
