When I record a track from a CD through my recently purchased Philips psc703 sound card, I can't get Acid to play back any sound. I have set the preferences for record & play back for the psc703 to no avail. I have even tried running it through the Microsoft Sound Mapper, again to no avail.I set the recording peramaters to 44,000kHz at 16bit. I would like to know if there is a simple solution to this delima. |

Make sure in Control panel/sound and multimedia..you have the right output device..thats the first thing i would check...i run 2 sound cards...sb live and gina..i use my gina for input and my sb live for output |

Bullkr, There could be multiple reasons for you difficulty, but before I expound on any of them, could you answer two questions: 1. Can you get Acid to play back anything at all? (Not just recorded data) 2. After you record the CD, does the new track appear in the timeline? If so, is wave form data present? Regards, Nick LaMartina |
