Subject:Waves DeBreath crashes SF (Pro & Audio Studio)

Has anyone here had or heard of the following problem, which has been plaguing me for months and months:

Waves DeBreath crashes my Sound Forge Pro and Sound Forge Audio Studio, 99 out of 100 times these days -- and I can't find any behavior or event that correlates with when it crashes or the extremely rare times that it doesn't crash. It always happens in the last couple of seconds of processing a file with DeBreath, and the length of the file makes no difference. When I first bought DeBreath (a little over a year ago?), it worked well with both versions of SF. Increasingly, though, the crashing began to happen -- until now it's almost always the case. I've tried running the programs in different environments -- with most services disabled, first thing after a reboot, in Safe Mode (not doable, as an error always says DeBreath doesn't have a license, which it does), without firewall/antivirus/Internet connection, with external interface and internal sound card -- but nothing so far has made a difference. And no other software/plug-in presents this kind of problem (I have Sony's and the Izotope Mastering Bundle installed).

Since I wrote that to Waves tech support, I've spent an hour+ on the phone with one of their very nice tech people, trying everything we could think of -- changing user settings, updating drivers, clean-reinstalling programs, blah blah blah. Always the same crash pattern. Needless to say, I've been "escalated" to the next echelon of tech support.

I'm on a Lenovo T500 w/system specs as displayed below (right??). Interested to hear from anyone with insights or useful speculation.

Thanks!
