I created a video in Vegas Pro 11 and have the
properties settings template NTSC DV Widescreen (720x480, 29.970 fps)
audio 5.1 surround sound.
In Render As
Mainconcept MPEG-2 DVD Architect NTS Windscreen video stream (*)
Audio Dolby Digital AC-3 Pro: 5.1 Surround Sound
Render Options: Stretch video to fit output frame size
Metadata Option: Save project markers in rendered in media file
When rendering video is done I have video and all my makers, but no audio.
