I had to wipe the hard drive clean due to some major trouble, and reinstall everything. In trying to record a excerpt off a disc I made using SF XP, I have inserted my disc and Windows Media Player pops up, and then hit record on SF XP for the track that I want. Everything seems to work fine. Unfortunately I hear mostly static on the playback of what I've recorded, and just barely hear any of the music. Why? About my PC, it is a PII 333, with 192 megs of memory, and a SoundBlaster AWE 64 card. Nothing fancy, but it worked for many other projects in the past. Chris Z.
