When I render my Acid project to mp3 and play it back, it's much quieter than the Acid session. Can anyone help? Message last edited on9/15/2012 12:10:18 PM byCountry Boy. |

? Are you playing the project back on the same system? What is being used to playback the MP3 itself? (Ensure any volume settings are set appropriately.) |

It plays back over the same system. I even imported the mp3 back into my session and it played very quietly in the same session. |

What software is being used to listen to the MP3? If it's a media player, ensure its volume control is up. If it's ACID, when you import media and add it to the project, the Preview fader's volume is taken into account. (e.g., If the fader's set at -10.0 dB, then the imported media will have a -10.0 dB cut at the track level. Adjust accordingly at the track level once the media is imported.) |

It plays in media player and the volume is all the way up, but still it is barely audible. When I import the mp3 back into the Acid session, it plays way quieter than any other sample I upload. I can adjust the preview volume, but I have to max it out to hear it. |

Try rendering to wave also. Then bring both the mp3 render and wave render in on separate tracks in ACID. Compare the wave You have not filled out your system specs in your profile. What audio hardware are you using in ACID? Are you using ASIO drivers? The difference in volume could also be a hardware - or software - volume/ gain setting. Check your signal path to assure that everything is consistent. Peter |
