Sometimes when I record a vinyl record, I will hear a regular low frequency thump noise due to record warp.

Have been very successful in its removal using SF 10 Audio Restoration under the Tools tab with these settings.
Click Removal - 17
Reduce Noise - 51 db
Affect Frequencies above - 100
Attack Speed - 5
Release Speed - 5
Noise Floor - -Inf.

You have to reach down to the low frequencies to catch the noise, but seems to have no affect on the high frequencies. It just removes those particilar events which are strong transients if you use the interval which includes only very quiet music passages. No need to apply in areas where the music is of medium loudness.
