I opened two sound sample waves in SF10 today to fix loop metadata I had forgotten to set. I entered the desired numbers in the loop tuner's fields, pressed Ctrl-S and closed the file. However, as I discovered shortly, SF hadn't saved the changes, which I discovered in my sampler. I finally figured out that SF doesn't recognize manually typed or pasted numbers in the Loop Tuner's fields as changes. Nice! Message last edited on8/28/2012 8:55:14 AM byDoug_Marshall. |

Specifically: changes made in the loop tuner aren't saved unless you first move the loop points by dragging the loop bracket above the waveform display. I discovered this the other day, but couldn't be bothered to report it, because development and support for SF for Windows seem to have ground to a halt... :-/ |

Yes, that's the behavior I found as well, yet the loop marker moves when you type in the values. In fact, Sony's support appears essentially non-existent for for all the products I use: Vegas, SF, CD Arch, DVD Arch, and the new, and poorly documented product, SpectraLayers. |
