I realize this is no biggie for you pros, but we're really video editors and trying to get AC7e under control. ( Steep learning curve...time wise) Anyway there is a great sample project with ARIA in it. We use it to try to figure things out.

It is in our sony program files on "C" drive with the other items that came with the program. It used to show up in the ACID 7 explorer window. No longer there. Rebooted. etc. Still no file (folder) in the Explorer.

I can go the the drive copy end exe and it loads with AP normally but still not in explorer.

I hate it when I can't figure things out. Help.

Windows Vista pro 32 bit.

I take it this is the project, "Just So You Know - ARIA Version?" (This is located under, by default (under Vista 64-bit), "C:\Programs Files (x86)\Sony\ACID Pro 7.0\Startup Project.")

I can see it in both Windows Explorer and ACID's Explorer, so I'm not sure how that went kablooey on you. I take it using the "Open" command in ACID works fine though? (Ctrl + O is the shortcut.)

You can upgrade the player that the ARIA for ACID Pro library uses, by the way, by going to MakeMusic's site.

You want version 1.111; do not try the newer versions as those are specific to certain Garritan libraries. (Unless, of course, you're feeling frisky. Version 1.5 might work but there's no guarantees.) You will also have to register to download. Lastly, do NOT uninstall ARIA for ACID Pro. Just install version 1.111 and insert "ARIA Player (Multi)" instead of ARIA for ACID Pro. You should be able to insert the instruments as you usually do but with the added features ARIA Player 1.111 provides.

If you have any questions about ARIA, I'm here.

Thanks. I do understand. It is just I don't like it when something messes up. We can still open from the programs menu of the "C" drive so all is not lost. Just wonder what happened and how to return it it normal. Again thanks for the reply.

Sony does some strange things.
