I've got Sound Forge XP 4.5 that came with my sound card (sound blaster live mp3+). There is no serial number that I have to type in, yet the software seems fully functional. My question is, how can I update the software to 4.5h, because the website asks for my serial number in order to download the update, which I do not have. Its not in the sound card manual, or anywhere else for that matter. Or is this a scaled down version of XP that comes with the sound card?

The versions of Sound Forge XP that are bundled with the Sound Blaster cards cannot be updated. However, if you are interested in upgrading to Sound Forge XP 5.0 you would qualify for upgrade pricing.
