Record DV movie 2. Extract sound on PC 3. Remix in 5.1 on PC 4. SoftEncode into AC3 files on PC 5. Transfer audio to CDR (not CDA) 6. Extract video on MAC into Final Cut Pro 2 7. Extract PC CDR of AC3 files to Final Cut Pro on MAC 8. Export movie for iDVD pro, on MAC 9. Burn DVD with 5.1 sound. on MAC Can Final cut keep the AC3 file native and not recompress it? or will my whole movie get recompressed by final cut or iDVD pro in preparation for burning. I need some g4 users to answer these questions before I am embark on this quest.

Can Final cut keep the AC3 file native and not recompress it? or will my whole movie get recompressed by final cut or iDVD pro in preparation for burning. I need some g4 users to answer these questions before I am embark on this quest.
