I have a perfectly tuned PC system that running Sound Forge, Sony Vegas, and Pro Tools v10 - this new Spectral Layers software crashes, and provides so many error messages when attempting to import even the simplest single channel wave file - EVEN the one that Sony provides as a demo (brought down to one channel to fit the demo). I've never experienced this level of garbage from Sony ever and don't take it lightly that this demo was a complete waste of time. Sure, the software looks great and normally I jump on anything that came out of Sonic Foundry and now Sony - every initial release has been near stellar (except for Sound Forge v7.0). This, however, merits my 2 cents to make others aware. Sorry Sony, but this was an uncool version that doesn't even make it as a beta version in my book.
