Looks interesting, but seems an oddly uncompetitive decision to release it separately from Sound Forge, rather than making it part of the Sound Forge (v11?) feature set - when one of the things that differentiates Audition from Sound Forge is its spectral editor. Thoughts? |

Many Sonic Foundry and SCS utilities and plug-ins were first sold separately, Case in point, Acoustic Mirror, CD Architect and the Noise Reduction suite. All are now included w/ SF Pro. Addendum: But with a starting price of US$374.95, I don't know. It should be bungled with SF however, at least a lite version to stay competitive with Wavelab and Audition. I've already jumped ship from Vegas in favor of Slo-Tools. Vegas' lack of 'pro' audio features. SF may be next to go. Message last edited on7/19/2012 2:47:20 PM byrraud. |
