I am having instances where, when listening to a track in SF9, I will hear a bit of static and the cursor jumps back to the starting position but the musice continues from where it was. Of course there is no longer any correlation between the sound and the wave form. What might be causing this? I am playing back through a Tascam US-122 MkII. I just noticed that the level meters are no longer operating. If I stop and then restart, all seems to be back to normal. |

Try pressing the backslash \ key next time it happens, while it's still playing. See if that helps it at all. |

It shifted the tracks slightly to the left, but nothing elds. Tapping the space bar twice resumes the music in the same place and restores the meters to activity, but the cursor goes back to the beginning of the file. Any other suggestions? Edit: I changed the playback device back to MS Sound Mapper andd the problem went away. There must be a problem with playback through the Tascam interface. Thanks for your help.
