Subject:Sound Forge 9: no sound

After many, many months I brought an LP into SF, and the .wav file is there, but when I click the Play button there is no sound. If I play the .wav file in Win Media Player there is sound, so it must be a SF setting. What am I not seeing? TIA.

Check which device is selected for playback in Sound Forge preferences.

Thanks. That seems to have been the problem. I'm recording from an LP through a Tascam 122 MkII, and when I select that for record it also gets selected for playback. If I choose the Microsoft Sound Mapper for playback it is also designated for the record mode.
